Every Disney legend starts as a drawing. This officially licensed set tells the story of Dumbo twice over: once as the finished character audiences fell in love with in 1941, and once as the working sketches that brought him to life.
The centrepiece is a 3/4 oz 999 pure silver coin shaped around Dumbo in full flight. The design is rendered in black and white as a tribute to golden age animation, with his hat and collar highlighted in yellow, the only touches of colour against the silver.
Alongside it sits a 5 g 999 pure silver foil styled after a vintage Walt Disney animation model sheet, complete with multiple character poses and the animators’ working notes. Turn it over and the reverse carries a full colour scene of the flying elephant himself.
Both pieces arrive together in dual window packaging designed for display, decorated with Dumbo artwork and the phrase “Dreams take flight”. Each piece is individually numbered (coin and foil numbers may differ) and the set carries a Mark of Authenticity. Issued as Niue legal tender with a 2026 year of issue, only 1,000 sets exist worldwide.
