Middle East conflict grows, Gold up again

Iran has vowed to retaliate after it accused Israel of bombing its embassy complex in Syria on Monday, in a deadly escalation of regional tensions over the war in Gaza.

The attack has killed at least seven top-level officials of Iran’s military elite.

As Iran has named Israel as the instigators of the attack, this could place additional pressure on the US for additional support in an already volatile situation.

As expected on receipt of the news, Gold moved aggressively upwards again, confidently moving upwards $US100 within a few days.

With conflict unfolding, more news will be forthcoming over the next week.
